Lanta Island is a trendy tourist destination which until a few years ago was hardy known to the travelling community. The Islands of Lanta Noi (small Lanta) and Lanta Yai (large Lanta) are situated about 80 km south of Krabi which is the capital of Krabi Province. Lanta Islands can easily be reached, by boat from Krabi, or from Phuket via Phi Phi Island. By car the trip involves two small car ferry crossings. By air its from Krabi Airport which also is an International Airport, with direct flights to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore as well as charter flights from/to Europe. Most other destinations are routed via Bangkok. From Krabi there are several daily flights to Bangkok.

The property for sale is a prime piece of real estate, situated on the hillside right above Pra-Ae village. The property has a rectangular shape and its size is 10 rai which equals to 1.6 ha or 4 acres. About 75% of the land offers fantastic views over the Andaman Sea. The elevation of the land is from 8m to 45m above sea level. Three sides of the property are still vacant land with natural trees and bushes. The water is sourced at the bottom of the property from a 35m deep water bore with a submersible pump.

Electricity to the property is supplied by our own high tension masts and line and a 35 kw/hrs Transformer.

The property has big development potential. Feasible would be to build more self catering accommodation, or condominiums and villas for sale or rent. Another option would be to subdivide the property into residential lots. Or just build a private villa and retire and have 6 guest rooms for friends and family.
